WOMEN IN BUSINESS Foundations Program
The Women in Business Foundations Program (WiBFP) is an initiative by South Australia’s Office for Small and Family Business under the South Australian Small Business Strategy (2023-2030).
This program supports 600 women-led small businesses across South Australia from October 1, 2024, to June 30, 2026; and provides tailored mentoring and advisory services that focuses on enhancing business growth, sustainability, and capabilities.
Program Fee:
$220 incl. GST (this program is highly subsidised).
What’s included:
You’ll have a mentoring session with an Adelaide Business Hub advisor to create a detailed action plan and receive an additional 5 hours of tailored specialist support.
To be eligible for the program, you must:
Identify as a woman in business.
Be located in South Australia with a turnover of under $1million per year and registered for GST.
Be a for profit entity.
Demonstrate a strong commitment to completing the mentoring sessions and have the capacity to actively participate and engage in the program.
Employ less than 20 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) team members.
Please note: The business’ ABN must not have previously accessed The Women In Business Foundations Program.
To make the program more accessible, individuals from the following groups are also encouraged to apply:
Businesses located in regional or rural South Australia.
Participants who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.
Participants who come from a culturally-diverse background.
Participants who speak a language other than English at home or come from a migrant background.
Participants who have identified accessibility needs.
